Designed to achieve a 95% mirror finish, this paint is ideal for decorative, custom, or industrial projects. Its application is simple and versatile, allowing you to achieve professional results, even if you're a beginner.

Main Features:

• Mirror Finish: Achieve a bright, reflective, mirror-like chrome effect with 95% reflectivity. It can be applied over any glossy surface, regardless of color, but it must be over HS Standard Gloss Clear Coat. Scratch-resistant or ceramic clear coats are unsuitable because they clog the pores too much, preventing the paint from penetrating properly. This clear coat is the same one included in the COMPLETE KIT.

• Easy Application: You can apply it with a sponge, spray gun, or airbrush, adapting to your tools and preferences. Spray gun application is highly recommended; it produces the best Novachrome chrome effect and is the fastest application method.

• Versatility: Perfect for surfaces such as metal, wood, plastic, glass and more, as it can be applied to any shiny surface.

• Varnishable: Apply NOVA-CLEAR varnish to protect the finish and increase its durability without losing the mirror effect. After this, you can apply a 2K varnish to improve outdoor durability. For this, we recommend P8-80 UHS varnish (you can apply it directly or mix it with any of our exclusive tints ).

• Quick Drying: Fast drying formula that saves time on your projects.

How to apply with a sponge?

1. Surface Preparation: On a clean, glossy surface (recommended over a 2K gloss HS clear coat that is not too hard, ceramic, or scratch-resistant), apply with the sponge in quick, smooth strokes. If any areas remain uncovered, go over them again very gently to avoid disturbing the paint. You can even spray directly from the container for instant coverage or to touch up missed areas. If you apply it over our 2K HS varnish, waiting 24 hours is sufficient. Here you can see the complete kit that includes this varnish. For application with a solvent-resistant spray gun or airbrush.

2. Even Coating: Let it dry and repeat the process if necessary until you achieve complete coverage. Don't worry if there are any traces of the sponge; it will self-level in a few seconds. If it doesn't, re-wet the sponge and go over it again very gently, using only the tip of the sponge, until completely covered. You can dry it with a hairdryer, but it's always best to air dry to avoid any stains.

3. Repainting. If you need to touch up the chrome because of any stains or unpainted areas, for small pieces it's best to repaint; it's faster that way. For larger pieces, you can do it in sections to avoid creating new stains, or if the piece is more complex, you can use a spray gun for better coverage.

4. Protect with Varnish: Once dry, apply NOVA-CLEAR varnish to protect and preserve the shine using a spray gun or airbrush. It can be recoated with P8-80 UHS varnish two hours after application, or with any other reliable varnish for improved weather resistance. For solvent-resistant spray gun or airbrush application.

Application with Airbrush or Spray Gun:

• It does not require dilution, it is applied directly onto the Barnz HS.

• Apply in thin, even layers, maintaining a constant distance to avoid dripping.

• Apply with light pressure (maximum 2 kg) and open the nozzle no more than half a turn, applying in thin layers to avoid over-accumulation. Air drying is recommended.

• Varnish with NOVA-CLEAR varnish. It can be revarnished with...  P8-80 UHS varnish . 2 hours after application or with any other varnish for greater exterior protection.

• For larger or more complex pieces, we recommend applying with a spray gun or airbrush, as it provides faster and easier coverage than using a sponge.

The approximate yield would be 100 ml = 1 m2
